Notes: I'm not usually all that interested in villains, but the writing and characterization in this fic is phenomenal. Plus, CoG got me thinking about the similarities and differences between Grindelwald and Voldemort, which is something this fic really explores.

There are tags for fantastic beasts (fb: 1) and crimes of grindelwald (fb: cog). You can use those for fic/art that take place in that era or thoughts about those movies.

The ship tags have gotten a revamp as well! I tried to use ship names that I found on tumblr and most of them should be pretty self-explanatory. If there are more popular versions of any of these ship names (or I'm missing any you plan on posting about), feel free to shoot me a comment on this post. The only one that might be confusing is "snakestrange", which is Leta/Nagini. "Ship: gen" is used for fics that don't feature any ships.

Hi everyone! I just realised I never properly introduced myself.

My name is Sunset. I use she/her or he/him pronouns. I'm 20 years old, and I made this community instead of working on my finals.

In all seriousness, though, I love Fantastic Beasts fandom. I've met two of my best internet friends because of it, and I was SUPER worried about the fate of all fannish content after tumblr banned NSFW content and set its under-developed bot loose. I actually knew about Dreamwidth wayyy back from my days writing in the Hetalia kink meme (at 13... whoops!) and I stumbled across the

fantasticbeasts_kinkmeme, which seems to be pretty quiet these days, but it's full of some neat (and usually very NSFW) prompts if you want to get some creative juices flowing.

I'm a fan fiction writer and long-time fangirl. You may know my from that one Fright Night inspired Vampire AU I did with almost-annette if you're a gradence fan. I've also written for gramander and newdence, and I ship basically everything. I find myself usually working in AUs and doing a lot of character work (and plenty of smut). I also like making moodboards and banners!

Uh... what else? In real life I'm a college student looking to get a degree in English, with a focus on writing. I've been in fandom for nearly a decade now, I'm a bit of a disaster, and I have a massive crush on Colin Farrell.

College student, political science major headed into a political science master's degree, art journaler, Pokemon Go player, three confirmed mental illnesses in a trenchcoat.

I'm better known as bluebeholder on AO3, and under that name I've posted...a lot of other stuff for this fandom. ("the accidental epic" is my big one, several hundred thousand words of suitcase-family fic - I hope it's okay that I'm not posting it as an official rec.) Mostly gradence but, let's be real, I am a terrible multishipper and if it's a possible pairing, I've written it. Thank you for the recs already here, I'm blushing so hard you don't even know...

Got a few FB fics on the plan for once finals are over (Oregon Trail AU, expanded to fit CoG; a snapshot about Credence & Nagini; a fic which will involve Nagini and Percival Graves, Original Flavor, going on the most poorly-thought-out road trip ever...) but for right now fic writing seems to be taking a backseat to the simply massive essays I need to work on for school.

And...I guess that's me. Hello again, and let me say I am REALLY happy and very thankful to be here!

Fun fact, this was the fic that first got me into gradence, and now almost-annette and I talk nearly every day! So much can change in a year and a half.

I'm not sure gothy writes for Fantastic Beasts very often anymore, but I just love this whole fic. It's gorgeously written and this Graves is one of my favourites! I'm a sucker for a scruffy Colin in a beanie, apparently.

My weakness for bear!Graves is showing again, whoops. But seriously, this fic's plot is entertaining, slightly ridiculous, and weirdly sweet at times. And, naturally, Soz's smut is to die for.
